New Countries and New Adventures for Foundation for Rural Communities

We continue to support our communities' in Nicaragua with our programs. 

We have worked with 8 communities in implementing our food programs with the construction of kitchens and are happy to say we are currently feeding 550 children 3 times a week in these communities. 

Project for better drinking water in Mata de Cana and Santa Anita have commenced 

We are supporting 60 students with scholarships to continue their Education at a High School and College level.

Foundation for Rural Communities started our mission to help the most vulnerable communities' in Costa Rica in 2021. 

Alongside with a local Non Profit Organization "Fundacion de Ayuda a las Comunidades Rurales de Costa Rica" we have started to support various communities who are in need of better clean water systems.

We started with the cleaning of the well at the community of the Andes in Cruz de Guanacaste.

In the community of El Limonal in Abangares, we donated a water pump and the electrical system for the protection of the water pump. 

In the Community of Corralillo, we donated a water pump, pipelines and the electrical system for the protection of the water pump.

In the Community of Tilaran a water pump was donated.

Around 3,000 people are benefiting from these Water Pumps.

We have also started our food program providing meals for the children of De la Cruz, Guanacaste and the neighborhood of Martin Aburto in Liberia

Foundation for Rural Communities started   our programs in August of 2021 in the impoverish communities of Ilama in Santa Barbara. 

Alongside with a local Non Profit Organization "Fundacion de Ayuda a las Comunidades Rurales de Honduras" we began to improve the water systems of the following 7 communities in the municipality of Ilama in Santa Barbara. 

• San Juan de La Cruz
• La Estancia
• El Capulin
• El Ocotal
• El Calichal 
• El Pital 

We assisted with replacing broken PVC pipelines with 3" galvanized pipes , replaced water tanks with 30 thousand gallon tanks.

We constructed concrete piles to filter sand from the water to avoid the tanks filling with sand.

The work of our water program has benefited a total of 4,000 people.

In September 2023, we began our food program in the commuities of El Ocotal and San Juan de la Cruz, with this program these communities are feeding 120 children two times a week.
