crop program

95% of the labor in these rural communities is in agriculture. In rural areas, farmers are poorer than non-farmers; farmers with no cash crops are poorer and have less food security than farmers growing cash crops. Households close to roads and markets are better off than other farmers. By providing fertilizer for their crops, we can help them increase their revenue. Helping the farmers of these communities will increase opportunities and access to education, healthcare, and housing. Starting with agriculture development is just the beginning to help diversify the income of theses communities when the crop season ends.
